A native app for rally engineers combines Tauri + Rust MPSC single-thread worker with an embedded DuckDB with Delta and Azure extensions, providing offline OLAP files plus online sync to OneLake lakehouses. User-scoped auth uses OAuth 2.0 PKCE and OpenID Connect to obtain per-user access tokens, set as DuckDB secrets, then upload files via the request crate and append or ingest using ABFS/Delta SQL (attach/insert and delta_scan). The build works with encrypted local DBs and Fabric connectivity, few subtle bugs encountered.
