" summary

A career switch into tech earlier in 2023 results in landing an IT help desk role and completing a 7-month accelerated AWS DevOps engineering program, gaining hands-on experience with AWS, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, publicly documenting progress on Medium and LinkedIn since Jan 23rd, enduring many failures, and converting that work into paid engineering roles; mentorship, community support, focused sacrifice, and persistence are given as the reasons this path succeeds.
