What are we doing, anyway?
summary
A string of small experiments becomes measurable outcomes: a thrown‑together bookmarklet sparks Paul Irish attention and bookmarklet turned into W3C styles that run on the specs; a one‑hour “gift city” hack grows into a synced GIF effort and the x‑gif web component that fuels conference talks; a quick Sublime/Bower plugin reaches ~10,000 installs; a birthday launch of Calibre yields live telemetry. Claims include concrete tools (DevTools, Tumblr API, web components, Bower) and surprising scale and adoption.
