Sponsored Session: Confidential Computing - New Capabilities for New Workloads
summary
Hardware-based trusted execution environments run code isolated from host and other workloads and produce cryptographic measurements that an attestation service verifies, using chip keys from Intel SGX/TDX, AMD SEV SNP, ARM CCA and GPU vendors. Remote attestation returns a signed hash of TE memory so callers get provenance and unique identities; examples include GenAI training/inference with verifiable data lineage, multi-bank reconciliation and pharma analytics. Measured overhead is near native typically 2–5% performance hit (pathological cases up to ~25%). Open source projects and the Confidential Computing Consortium provide tooling.
