Here Be Dragons
summary
A broken gossip site feature yields a missing I18n interpolation key tidbit_sender fixed by editing the ERB template; debugging uses the JavaScript console, curl and ActionMailer stack traces to trace failures. Exploration finds a dead tiny_url module that makes and discards external HTTP calls, inconsistent validation (name length 40 vs 41), wrong hash keys, and 72 accumulated expletive points. The claim is that tiny cooperative choices—tests, clear names, deleting dead code—stop entropy; defecting accelerates rot.
