AWS Developer Innovation Day opening keynote
summary
AWS announces concrete developer tooling: Amazon CodeWhisperer is generally available and, in a preview study, users are 27% more likely to pass tests and complete them 57% faster; it includes built-in security scanning, filters biased suggestions, and flags open-source resemblance, and is free for individuals. A new unified service, Amazon CodeCatalyst, offers blueprints plus cloud-hosted dev environments that spin up ready IDEs, pipelines, and project management integrated with Git and VS Code to cut onboarding and pipeline setup time.
